Recycle

I was talking with someone the other day and she brought to my attention another way to recycle.  So you bought a book  to read and you’ve read it, now what do you do with it?  You probably put it in a bookshelf  and forget about it, right?  That’s what most of us do.  But think about this for a minute.  Another person wants to read that same book you just read so what do they do?  They go  to the store and buy a copy,  another tree cut down and more chemicals added to the environment.  Instead, recycle that book to someone who wants to read it.  Donate to a used book store, thrift store or library.  If most everyone does this that will cut down on the making of more books, less pollutants.  Made you think didn’t I?

So now think about your clothes.  Do you wear them to a point where they just fall apart?  Probably not, so why not go to a consignment store and make a little money and help the environment all at the same time.

Well that’s my two cents for the evening.   What’s yours?
